{Review} Nordic Naturals {Giveaway}

Have you ever found that you have a hard time giving your child vitamins? Do they not like the taste or even the aftertaste? We received samples of three kinds of Nordic Naturals for children. Nordic Naturals for kids are recommended for age 2 and up. Therefore, *B* couldn't help us out with this review. However my candy loving niece was more than willing to help me out.
Before I opened the first package, Nordic Omega-3 Fishies, I took time to read the labels. And I had to laugh. Nordic Naturals has the cutest little saying on the back of the package. At noontide, Viking trolls gather Nordic Omega-3 Fishies from the fjord waters. Rich in the omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, these magical fishies support development of the brain, eyes, and nervous and immune systems.* Nordic Omega-3 Fishies have a delicious tangerine taste and make an ideal companion to our Nordic Berries multivitamin. I can truly picture these little Viking trolls.

I handed over a fishy to my niece. Now I was expecting a little tiny gummy, but the fishies are approximately two inches long. And they resemble little sugar coated fish and are tangerine flavored. She took a bite of the fishy and gave me a funny look. I asked her what the deal was. She said that they were sour. She truly had a sour gummie look on her face. So I asked her what it tasted like and she said an orange. She is only five years old and as you know getting a straight answer isn't always easy.

From there we moved onto the Children's DHA. They are a small, chewable cod liver oil supplement flavored with strawberry essence. Children's DHA is a delicious way for children to supplement their diet with the essential brain nutrient, DHA. Molecularly distilled for purity, Children's DHA contains only naturally existing vitamins A and D. She put it in her mouth and said "it's really gummy." I told her it should have stuff in it, she just needs to keep chewing. All of the sudden she said "it squished in my mouth." I told her it was okay, it was suppose to do that. She said it really tastes like strawberries.

And last we tried the Nordic Berries. Again, these had a cute saying on the package. Nordic folklore says, at twilight trolls gather cloudberries found along the banks of the fjord waters. Rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, cloudberries have a delicious sweet-and-sour citrus taste. Nordic Berries are a multivitamin and makes an ideal companion to any of our fruit-flavored fish oil products. She popped one in her mouth and said, "Mmmmm." I said you like those? She said they were her favorite.
