On the Horizon

On the Horizon is the home of the weekly blog carnival, The Seventh Day, featuring posts on ALL topics. Submit your entry by noon (Pacific time) each Saturday in order for it to be included on Sunday!

I blog about spirituality, faith, belief, and my exploration of those topics outside the confines of organized religion. The site's philosophy is "radical inclusiveness" -- all are welcome to join in the discussion and debate! The site documents my journey toward a deeper understanding of the Gospels and enrichment of my faith outside the confines of the institutional, patriarchal church. It facilitates my spiritual growth by providing me with a forum in which to write about my thoughts, feelings and observations.

I am a professional woman with two children and an advanced degree residing in California.
