I Need a Vacation

I want to get away and just have fun. I want that remote from the Jim Carrey movie so I can put life on pause. There is always so much going on that I can not get away. It is nice to dream about it though. If I had the time to get away I think I would go to Tucson. I really miss living there, especially this time of year.

I could go see my family and my old work friends. My old friends from Famous Sams were always good for fun and crazy nights. The homes there by the mountains are so beautiful. I think I would do a vacation rental instead of a hotel though. I would not really be a tourist since it is the place I used to call home. I would want to feel more like it used to and less like I was a tourist.

Just last night my oldest daughter and I were saying how much we miss Arizona. I would love to go stay at a Tucson vacation rental for a week. We even joked with James that he should ask to transfer back. (Okay, we were not fully joking) After looking at the Colorado vacation rentals, I would not mind moving there either. I have always wanted to go to Colorado.
