TONIGHT (6/5) on the CBS EVENING NEWS, Correspondent Daniel Sieberg examines college gossip web sites that have students, parents and administrators all worried about when their private secrets might spill out over the Internet for all to see.
"Like it or not, there's growing acceptance to let it all hang out online," says CBS Correspondent Sieberg. "Facebook even offers the honesty box - where you actually ask people to post what they really think of you, anonymously." Sites like JuicyCampus.com has been most noted, but there are smaller ones as well that are must-read sites for college students. Although some gossip researchers (yep, they do exist) are saying there are some positives about this increasing rumor mill trend.
