The Official Start of Summer

The official start of Summer is about to be upon us. In just a few weeks (June 21st) we will all get to celebrate the start of Summer. I love Summer. Yes it is hot in Texas but all of the fun activities, foods, and sports activities occur during the Summer. One of my favorite activities is Tennis. I participated in a monthly long tennis class in middle school to learn proper technique and more about the game and had a blast. I since haven’t been able to play as much as I use to but I have brought my racket with me to Houston and Mike has one too so I think we will be scoping out some courts to play around on. I hear the twisting and running back and forth can really help your waistline 
When we were still planning our trip to London this Spring one of the things on my “check into” list was Wimbledon - either touring the stadium or watching a match since it is “The” Tennis Tournament. During my research I found out that we would just miss it (along with football season) since it begins about the same time as Summer officially begins. But nevertheless I did look for and found many ticket brokers who were selling excellent Wimbledon debenture tickets for the tournament.
The debenture section is equivalent to the American 2nd tier seats like in a basketball arena so they were really good seats. So while I can’t go this year, now that I have figured out when Wimbledon begins and how the stadium is set up I think I will keep this on my “check into” list for when I do finally get to London because I will get there one day. If you are lucky and will be in London or England in general and can get over for the Tournament there are still great tickets left! I would love to hear about how everything is in person and see pictures of the stadium. I remember it was just beautiful in the movie with Kirstin Dunst and on TV each year.
