Motherhood
bensmomma posted 13 weeks 6 days ago — Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted a family when I got older. I had my son on March 31, 2007 and I love being his mommy. Motherhood is such a wonderful experience. I remember when I was pregnant, I purchased a heart monitor (to hear his heart beat). I listened to his heart beat every hour. I would even wake up in the middle of the night and listen to his precious heart beating. I am so grateful and thankful to have him in my life. He is my baby boy and he will always be. Motherhood is a gift and children are indeed a blessing. My heart warms up when my son gives me a hug. I love motherhood, it’s kind of hard to put in words how I feel. Here is what motherhood means to me:
Motherhood is that precious gift and the love in your heart
The love for this blessing that no one can tear apart
A heart filled with joy when they come into your life
Your hoping and praying that everything would go right
Not wanting any harm to come their way
Protecting them from danger and every day you pray
You pray that you would do it right and not mess up
Calling them, “my baby,” even when they’re all grown up
Caring for them daily and watching them sleep
Admiring their beauty and thinking, “how sweet”
How sweet they are and they are your world
Your bouncing baby boy or your sweet baby girl
Motherhood is that full time job and you sure can’t call out
Vacations, sick leave, you can forget about
Your payment is that smile and that love your little gives you
A “full time 24/7 job” is indeed true
A job I love and I am so glad to have
I will never quit this job, because this job is the best job I ever had
