If you are a regular MommyCosm reader, you are well aware of my journey last year to donate peripheral blood stem cells to a 21 year old women with leukemia. I’ve mentioned it here and here. We are nearing my one year donation anniversary. That is the critical point when they (hopefully) give her the “alls clear” with my stem cells AND we get the opportunity to receive each other’s contact information, if we both choose to do so. I’m hopeful that I will get to meet her. The whole “match” with a complete stranger concept blows my mind and I’m curious to know a little about her.
