I love me a good knit hat every now and again-- and especially now since winter is coming! Plus, who does not like a child in a knit hat? NO ONE! They are just too darn cute!

Tell us a bit about yourself and/or family, How did you get your start in crafting and making items? I'm 22, I live in Chicago and love it! I live with my boyfriend, who is a huge help with my Etsy shop. My family isn't too far away, and as you can tell from my shop, my niece and nephew love being my models. I've been crafting all my life, but I've only been knitting for a few years, and I just started selling my creations on Etsy.
What are your two favorite items in your shop right now and why? I love the little sachets I've been knitting lately. They smell so nice, and they are fun to put together. I'm also crazy about this taupe and teal hat. It turned into something completely different than I expected, and I like that it surprised me.
Do you have any family holiday traditions that you would like to share with our readers? My family goes way overboard with the holidays. We celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah, and we have a tradition of having a Hanukkah themed Christmas Eve dinner. We decorate the table in gelt and dradles, and have everyone over for a big celebration.
Where do you see yourself and your shop in 5 years? I have a very busy work life, so I think my shop will stay small for a while. But there's nothing better than coming home from work and having a sale!

Favorite Movies and or Books? I am a BIG movie buff! I actually work at a non-profit film organization, so I see a whole lot of movies. My all-time favorite is Fellini's 8 1/2. It is a beautiful, brilliant film. I am a big Harry Potter fan, and I also love the author Richar Russo. My favorite book of his is Straight Man, which is hilarious.
